How to Catch Golden Stag, Horned Hercules and all rare Bugs in Animal Crossing New Horizon
Catching #Bugs are hard in #AnimalCrossing #NewHorizons #ACNH so this video will help create Beetle Spawning Islands and teach you how to catch rare Beetles such as Golden Stag, Hercules Beetle, and Giraffe Stag, and easier beetles such as Scarab Beetle, Giant Stag, Horned Elephant Beetle, Cyclommatus Stag and Horned Atlas Beetle.
If you don’t have time to watch the video I’ll list out a TL;DR Version
To Prepare You need 1–2 Iron Axes, 1–2 Iron Shovels and as many bug nets as you like (You can also buy supplies from Wilbur at the airplane if your equipment breaks)
- Get a Nook Miles Ticket and go to any island (it’s better if its flat (no elevation) and minimal water, but this technique can work on any island really just takes more work in removing water bugs and land bugs on higher elevation)
- Cut down every tree and dig them out to stop tree bug spawning (Build a ladder if you have higher elevation with left over wood)
- Break every rock
- Pluck every flower (You don’t need to dig them out or pull out weeds, butterflies don’t spawn without flowers having their petals)
- And run around the island, scare off bugs you don’t want (Look in the water to remove Water bugs, and rocky piers to remove roaches) Mosquitoes are around but let them bite you, they don’t do anything really
And be-careful of scorpions - And that’s it, it’ll take 1 hour to spawn all beetles from my run
To catch these beetles
Large Beetles — Move up and down, if they stop, stop moving, if they move, move closer holding A
Large Stags (Claw like mouths) — Open and close their jaws, if they open/close their jaws move closer, if they stop moving, stop moving
BIG NOTE, if they lean their head back, they are watching you, do not move at all costs.
Just like Tarantula island and Scorpion Islands, this helps spawn rare beetles much easier, and we provide tips for your beetle catching problems you may have. Just cause they’re scary and creepy, we got a way to get it over with so you can focus on the harder bugs to catch, like Grasshoppers… I’m seriously, I haven’t found one yet and its driving me crazy This is a How to Catch Bugs in Animal Crossing New Horizon Guide
